Seven time Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC are expected to part company with experienced right back Nicholas Wadada at end of the season, Swift Sports Uganda understands.

David GOMBESeven time Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC are expected to part company with experienced right back Nicholas Wadada at end of the season, Swift Sports Uganda understands.

This website understands that Wadada is unlikely to extend his stay at the Kitende based side beyond this season. This season he has had limited playing time at the club.

In 2018, Wadada left Vipers for Tanzanian side Azam before leaving for Ihefu FC in 2022 on a one contract after spending four illustrious four years at Azam FC.

Wadada then joined Ihefu SC before he joined another Tanzanian side Singida in June 2023.

During his time in Tanzania, Wadada was nominated for the Best Player of the season award (MVP) in the Tanzania Premier League in 2020 despite being a right-back only to lose to Simba’s Clatous Chama.

He won the best defender of the season award that year on account of his outstanding exploits with Azam FC.

Last season, he won a domestic double with Vipers and remains on course for another glorious season with the club top of the league standings and are in the semifinals of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
