The 2025/26 Uganda Premier League campaign will officially climax on Saturday, 23rd May with seven fixtures.
Vipers already clinched the title for their eighth time in history and will officially be crowned after their final game against seven time league champions Express FC at St.Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
The relegated teams have also been confirmed with Buhimba United Saints and Calvary dropping back to the FUFA Big League.
Unlike the previous season where three teams have always been relegated this term only two will drop to the second tier with four being promoted.
With the title and relegation battle done, focus turns to the golden boot race.
Ivan Ahimbisibwe (KCCA FC) who finished second to Allan Okello last term leads the race for the golden boot this season with 13 league goals.
Ambrose Kigozi of Entebbe UPPC is one short of Ahimbisibwe while Vipers starman Abdul Karim Watambala is currently on 11 goals.
Ahimbisibwe’s KCCA host Mbarara City while Entebbe UPPC will face BUL FC at Bugonga Fisheries.
