FUFA has handed SC Villa three points for the abandoned Uganda Premier League match against Calvary FC.

The match was abandoned at halftime with SC Villa leading 1-0 at Midigo playground in Yumbe, on March 2 due acts of hooliganism from fans and officials of Calvary FC.

The FUFA Disciplinary panel has ruled that Calvary forfeits the match and loses three points, with the result awarded to SC Villa in accordance to FUFA Competition Rules.

SC Villa are now fourth on the Uganda Premier League table with 38 points, nine adrift of leaders Vipers after 20 matches.

It’s another blow for Calvary, bottom of the table with five points as they still search for their first win in their debut season in top flight.

FUFA has ruled that Calvary faces a suspended three points and three goals should similar incidents occur and has been strongly warned against future misconduct.

Fufa added that the matter involving club president and allegations raised by Calvary FC regarding match fixing and referee misconduct have been referred to the FUFA Ethics and Disciplinary Committee for investigation.

In other rulings, Kitara have been fined Sh500,000 for allowing an individual without a bench permit to access the technical area during their league game against Entebbe UPPC on March 3.

FUFA Big League side Onduparaka have been fined Sh500,000 following incidents of hooliganism involving their supporters in a game against Ntugasaze in Arua on March 1st.

FUFA Big League side Paidha Black Angels has also been fined Sh500,000 for failing to ensure smooth access for Kataka FC to the stadium in Paidha for their league game on February 26.
