Vipers SC midfielder Abubakali Walusimbi is set to join Czech Republic side Slavia Prague in this transfer window.
With the move imminent the Ugandan will join seven other Ugandans who have played their professional football in the Czech Republic.
The list has Uganda Cranes left back Aziz Kayondo (Slovan Liberec) and Fahad Bayo (MFK Vyskov).

Former KCCA FC defender Musa Ramathan has also previously played for MFK Vyskov while Isaac Muleme featured for Viktoria Zizkov.

Edrisa Lubega and Sulaiman Mulumba featured for FK Pribram in the Czech Republic while John Paul Dembe played for Sigma Olomouc in the Czech Republic.
Walusimbi is a two time Uganda premier league champion with Vipers a former Uganda Cubs player is set to join a long list of Ugandans who have ever played their professional in the European country.
The midfielder played a vital role for the Uganda Cubs during their historic U-17 World Cup Qualification campaign last year.
In the final tournament held in Qatar, Walusimbi helped the World Cup first timers go past Senegal in the round of 32 before being eliminated by West African side Burkina Faso at the round of 16 stage.
