    The continued works will cater for increasing the seating capability to roughly 45,000 spectators, roofing the whole stadium, establishing trendy VVIP lounges, upgrading the media tribune for the Stadium to fulfill the required CAF Requirements for 2027 Africa Cup of Nations Video games.

    The venture is being performed by the UPDF Engineering Brigade below the supervision of Afande Peter Kidemuka as a part of Uganda’s preparations to co-host AFCON 2027.
