*Sommet Vs Victoria Crocs – 9pm

Magic Stormers will be seeking an upset when they take on KCCA Leopards in the National Basketball League on Friday at Lugogo.

The Stormers have had an indecent start to the season, winning just once in their five games so far.

To put it right, their 79-54 win against Nabisunsa has been followed by three straight defeats against UCU Lady Canons, JKL Lady Dolphins and Pearl Queens.

The defeat against Pearl Queens was hard to take in, after limiting the newcomers to zero points in the first quarter, Magic Stormers went on to lose the game – Managing just 12 points in the second half!

None of their players scored in double digits, with Mupalia Joy Nekesa scoring a double double of nine points and 12 rebounds.

Coach John Omondi will hope his stars including Daphine Adong, Kur Ajah, Mupalia, Auma Angella and new signing Mauren Amoding show up.

KCCA on the other hand, have had some ups and downs so far, scoring just 28 points in defeat against JT Lady Jaguars and managing only 34 against KCCA.

Their limitations are majorly due to a thin squad but have looked promising in some games including a win over defending champions JKL in the opener.

Tracy Namugosa scored a season high 30 points in recent win agaisnt Nabisunsa and will be the player to watch out for KCCA.
