NEC FC have completed the signing of midfielder Enock Tumwesigye on a two year contract, Swift Sports understands.
Tumwesigye joins NEC from New league entrants Kigezi Homeboyz where he spent one and half seasons.
The lanky midfielder played an integral role as the Kabale based side gained promotion from the FUFA Big League last season.
He joined Kigezi Homeboyz in January last year from Kaaro Karungi FC and played 40 games for the club scoring eight goals and providing eight assists.
Tumwesigye becomes the third player to join NEC from Kigezi Homeboyz in a space of one season, after Charles Waibi and Joseph Seremba who were signed last year.
NEC have parted ways with Siraje Sentamu, Timothy Muwanguzi, Muzamir Mutyaba, Patrick Bayiga and Jackson Ssembatya.
The Die Hards have already secured the services of Uganda Cranes striker Fahad Bayo who has been a free agent from North Macedonia side FK Vardar.
