The FUFA competitions department has confirmed the rescheduling of FUFA Big League games for match-days 20 and 21 to accommodate the FUFA Drum quarterfinal games.
Match-day 20 of the FUFA Big League was scheduled for 22nd March while match-day 21 was slated for 26th March.
According to FUFA Match-day 20 will now be played on 25th March while Match-day 21 will take place on 1st April 2026.
The latest developments means the first leg of the two legged FUFA Drum quarterfinals will be held on 22nd-23rd March with the return leg fixtures slated for 28th to 29th of the same month.
Bunyoro will battle 2023 champions West Nile in the FUFA Drum quarterfinals while 2019 winners Acholi will face 2024 runners up Busoga.
Teso will entertain reigning champions Lango whereas inaugural winners Buganda will lock horns with Tooro.
The province based annual tournament, themed on celebrating the nation’s ancestry, has so far attracted a number of sponsors like Rock Boom, MTN and Nile Special who were lured by the big fan numbers that grace the matches.
